The aim of this research is to observe the discipline management applied by teachers to shape the character of grade 1 students. The study was conducted using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach in SDN Ciceri Indah for 2 days. The teacher applied good communication with the students' parents to discipline the students, and gave appropriate sanctions if the students misbehaved and did not follow the rules. The discipline applied by the teacher made the children follow the learning process much better than children of the same age in grade .References
